YORKE.NET.AU

Coobowie is a snug little town nestled in picturesque Coobowie Bay on the heel of Yorke Peninsula, 225 km from Adelaide.
Coobowie, (from an Aboriginal word meaning 'wild fowl water') was proclaimed in 1875.
Coobowie is just a hop, step and jump from Port Giles, Wool Bay, and Edithburgh, all catering for the jetty fishing enthusiasts.
The Coobowie and Edithburgh Progress Associations received a $15,392 grant in 1999 to establish the Coobowie to Edithburgh Walking Trail.
